Welcome to My Corner of the Internet
Hey! I’m Shaz
I’m Shaz, and this little space is where I’m documenting my attempt to build a fuller, more intentional life in my 30s. No filters, no pretending I’ve got it all figured out, just real life in real time.
A Bit About Me
I’m your average British Bangladeshi living in London. Mixed English and Bangladeshi heritage, raised Muslim and currently navigating life as a mum of four…aged 4 to 17, so controlled chaos is basically my permanent state.
For years, I worked as a bridal hair, makeup and henna artist. Loved it. Was pretty good at it, too. But life had other plans, and now I’m exploring a whole new chapter…one that involves making money online, decluttering everything, and working towards financial freedom.

What You’ll Find Here
This blog is a bit of everything. Here’s what I’m documenting:
Making Money Online (Without Showing Your Face) — Testing different income streams and sharing what actually works.
Parenting Real Talk — Four kids means honest stories about the highs, lows and everything in between.
Minimalism & Simple Living — Decluttering my home, my schedule and my brain.
Tech Tips — I’ve got an IT background and love sharing tools that make life easier.
Beauty & Bridal Secrets — 16 years in the industry means I’ve got plenty to share.
Financial Freedom — Building wealth, saving smarter, and stressing less about money.
Travel — Halal-friendly family adventures on a realistic budget.
Why Stick Around?
Most blogs aren’t written by someone like me: a British Bangladeshi Muslim mum of four, ex-beauty professional turned online entrepreneur, trying to build something meaningful while keeping everyone fed and mostly sane.
I’m in the early stages, which means you get to see the messy bits, the trial and error, the wins and the failures. No overnight success stories. No fake screenshots. Just real progress and hopefully some useful lessons.
If you’re a mum trying to make money from home, someone interested in simple living, or just curious…welcome. Let’s figure this out together.
